True, AI is feeding climate change by consuming so much electricity, but even if AI hypothetically ran completely on farts and pixie dust, the effects of AI on the labor market would still be absolutely apocalyptic on a level of human suffering and civilizational collapse comparable to (if not rivaling) massive floods, famines, and heatwaves.
