i think what we really need is more training and mental checks before giving cops a such a dangerous job. there’s a lot of trigger happy cops that don’t know how to de-escalate

Nah we need actual accountability held by the community and pay docks to happen when violations occur. That’s what the abolitionist movement is about, restructuring the police from the ground up
