that’s why i like watching theism debate livestreams, like Matt Dillahunty or Jovan Bradley. they know surprisingly a fuck ton about the Bible and verses so it’s kinda educational for me too bc i don’t know shit about it either but there’s some fucked up shit in there people gloss over & it’s hilarious when they’re confronted with it.

true lol and my favorite is when they’re confronted blame semantics issues on poor translation from Hebrew & it’s not actually that bad but then the host is like “yeah so i can read the Hebrew version and it’s actually worse”
