I find it so interesting that if BILLIONAIRES paid taxes at the rate they’re supposed to, we would be able to solve so many of the country’s pressing issues. Like we wouldn’t need to argue about resource allocation if not for massive tax write offs

The only issue that I have with raising billionaire taxes is that it won’t generate more government revenue for the US government when people like Bezos only pay 1% in taxes instead of the actual rate for that level

The US has actually never tax unrealized capital gains. This isn’t accurate. What’s your source for this?
