Totally not biased in anyway, a website run by doge, promoting doge 🙄 The next paragraph in your article talks about how it cost taxpayers an estimated $10 billion in 2025, as well as rehiring a number of federal employees laid off due to doge cuts, along with others who are still employed due to litigation against doge and the government, ironically wasting more taxpayer money

Many of the rehirings came due to DOGE’s incompetence, “ultimately, the outcome was the agency was left broken and understaffed, they didn’t have r the people they needed to carry out basic functions.”

Hey dude, so doge unironically set US science and R&D back by decades. I assume this is because Elon assumed private industry would make up the difference, entirely forgetting that NASA basically propped up spacex for the entire first decade of its existence. Without NASA expertise and facilities, that company would be deep in the ground by now. The losses to science investment alone are more than what doge claimed to have „saved“ with creative accounting.

And NASA isn’t the only agency affected. I‘m just giving it as a particularly ironic example given Elon‘s history of both living off of government contracts and being to a large extent reliant on public R&D.
