I’d like to add I specifically talking about *those* moms who hide their ableism and lack of autism acceptance into “awareness for their precious baby angels” while actively neglecting to get them adequate care or educate themselves on how to navigate raising a child with autism. It’s the weird Freudian boy mom mixed with my child’s disability makes me special moms. Double whammy of whacko

I actually hate parents who make their whole personality abt their kids disability like actually hate them I think they should get their kids taken away from them kind of hate

My mom works at the school district (I'm autistic). My dad says that "I changed his career" because the words he says to me I take very literally, and that's helped him at work because he words things differently now.

Lemme find that woman on my towns facebook group who constantly complains about her adult autistic son not being babied enough by everyone else who’s profile picture was him in an ole timey prison cell with those Disney autism “acceptance” stickers plastered all over it bc I think that perfectly incapsulates it
