You want me to believe that conservatives who are open to abandoning Trump are put off by me being mean to them and therefore pushed away from liberal spaces where they can be deradicalized and reintegrated. The problem is they’re not abandoning Trump because they disagree with him, they’re abandoning him because they see the writing off the wall. It is quite literally rats off a sinking ship. Most are not reflecting on how they fucked the country up, they are ducking accountability.

See for me it’s the blatant racism, like there was talk about overturning Loving v Virginia, there was the incident with that superintendent talking about segregated schools, there was talk about defunding HBCUs, there’s been so many threats to black schools in the south especially the rise of the Klan again, truly for me I think conservatives are racism human beings who don’t care about anyone if they aren’t white and I can probably pull up all the racist things that have happened

If there is no accountability, reflection, realization of how incorrect they are and how deeply they’ve damaged their countrymen and their country, there is no barrier between them and the next fascist who points out that eggs are $6 a carton or that gee it sure seems like the Jews have a lot of influence on us. intolerance is literally the primary feature of modern conservatism. intolerance of women being independent (or just saying ‘no’), intolerance of other races, other religions, other sexualities. and so on. Conservatism is literally entirely about making people who are different from you suffer for the sin of being different from you. All it is, is ignorance and intolerance.

JKR was always quite conservative… she’s literally not even a feminist. There is no such thing as “trans ideology”, she don’t disagree on a political point, she disagreed on the humanity of a whole group of very vulnerable, mistreated people. it’s not cult like behavior to not tolerate fucking nazis (and JKR is clearly a nazi given who she associates with)

Yeah the tolerance paradox says that you cannot be tolerant of intolerance if you hope for a tolerant world. I agree with you that conservatism is overwhelmingly intolerant, and that’s why it should not be tolerated.
