The concept of not being vehemently anti-war is foreign to me. We all learned about the atrocities in Vietnam right? We all saw what happens in war in our history books? How could you convince yourself that’s ever justified?

I can proudly say I’ve held the same belief on war since I was 15 years old: war is hell and never necessary

WW2 is usually seen as a tragic but necessary action to rise up against the axis and stop the Nazis etc. Now the atom bombs, that’s a different story.
