Americans have an insane tolerance of bullshit. At this point, the only way that they would be held accountable is if the people rise up and take the capital by force, but that won’t happen because Americans don’t feel desperate enough.

 I seriously think the only way this country ever gets better is if we actually punish the people who completely abuse our state apparatus, but even the “opposition” party doesn’t support such a proposal.

Well also because people fear retaliation and punishment. People die at the hands of the government all the time, so it’s reasonable to be afraid of that happening to you should you “get out of line”

Absolutely. I think it’s insane that we had a President who was voted out of power, and then encouraged a mob to storm the legislature to prevent the peaceful transition of power, and we didn’t have that guy shot. How do you see a guy incite an insurrection, attempt to prevent the peaceful transfer of power, and NOT shoot that guy? You gotta put that guy down. Full stop.

Like, I hate to sound dictatorial as much as the next guy, but when someone attempts to fully overthrow your government for their own power, yeah man you gotta kill that guy. You can’t attempt a coup, fail at that coup, and then expect to live under any halfway rational regime. But liberals are so obsessed with “bipartisanship” and conciliation that they simply cannot muster the logical response to such an action.

When someone attempts an unpopular coup, tries to overthrow the will of the majority for their own personal gain, that person has to GO. There is no other choice. But instead, Democrats gave him the opportunity to come back into power, and destroy the institutions they claim to hold so dear even further! Ridiculous.
