Capitalism is inherently a bad system because it promotes maximizing profits at the cost of the worker. Also in terms of the exploitation, black people is one of the most exploited groups under this system throughout its history.
If you attempt to use capitalism for your own benefit then you’re a capitalist

Profits don’t come at the expense of the workers. In fact the worker themselves profit in a voluntary labor contract. Economists refer to the worker’s profit as worker surplus.

Maximizing profit does come at the expense of a worker. It’s why so many companies pay the bare minimum. It’s why large corporations can boast about record profits while paying the exact same amount or why they decrease the size of product while increasing the price. It’s why in the past wood dust would be mixed into certain food items.

If so many companies pay the bare minimum, why do less than 1% of Americans make minimum wage? Why do we have the 2nd highest median disposable income in the history of the world? A corporation that underpays its workers will lose workers to a corporation that is willing to pay them more. You can’t maximize profit if you don’t offer competitive wages.

Large corporations can cut cost in more areas than just pay. Also many corporations argue against raising minimum wage to a fair living wage due to maximizing profit. It’s why the US ranks high among developed nations in poverty rate. It’s why many products decrease in size. It’s why many companies outsource jobs. It’s why we spend hundreds of billions in large corporate subsidies. Also “disposable income” doesnt take into account things like private health-insurance.

Not to mention income inequality skews the median.
