Tbh I’m seeing that the storm didn’t start til like the last few days of January. It might’ve made those days safer, but I really doubt mamdani got into office and was magically able to make such a difference on crime. Especially in NYC. It looks like there was a change in tactics with policing, according to officials. But mamdani has no role in policing.
