as a preface, i work in telecom and i’m not trying to sell you shit btw. his telecom plan is $47.45 for a service that piggybacks off of at&t, verizon, and t-mobile. it’s the same strategy that cricket, consumer cellular, mint mobile, and boost mobile use. verizon owns visible, and they offer unlimited data for $29 A MONTH. for $65 a month (which can go to $50) for ONE PERSON ON AN ACCOUNT, people can get a new iphone or samsung for FREE. for the same price, they get better services.

if a family of four wants new phones, they could all get 17 pros and the base tier plan for $120, while it could be $300 a month for trump’s mobile plan. that’s an outright SCAM. also, his phone uses a chinese manufacturer subject to US export bans. the phone itself isn’t bad, but for $500, someone can get an equivalent samsung A36 for $360, a better samsung s25 FE for $650, or an iphone 16e for $600! none of those phones come with a national security risk!

also, no way in hell that phone could be made in america for $500. this country lacks the tech manufacturing capabilities, resources, and talent that east asia has. no city in america would never be able to match the assembly required even seen in vietnam! FUCK!
