republican/conservative playbook: - scream and cry when standards are applied to you saying heinous shit - standards evaporate bc somehow - turn around and apply "standards" - aka i love free speech except your speech, i love freedom except deport whoever i disagree with, i hate "lawfare" except im going to do it to everyone, i hate being prosecuted for my crimes so i call it fabricated and then openly say im politically motivated in targeting

i kinda included those in the free speech example (heinous racism and calls to violence and civil war for me, peaceful protests and mild mannered letters of disapprovals not for you thats terrorism)
