I’m tired of trying to wrap my head around the democrats anemic actions and understand their strategy, just full send it blue in the midterms and then form a new party immediately after, put up a dam to block the GOP from securing any seats and use the Democrats as a shield while we work

I’m not even sure I’m gonna vote for them in the midterms. Their reaction after their loss in 2024 told me everything I will ever need to know about them.

Only reason I say blue is because without them the GOP can rapidly advance their agenda of P2025 and further enshittify the nation. At least use the Democrats as the tool they’ve become, vote out Chuck Schumer if need be. But they are a means to an end atp, they stopped being for the people, but a new party needs time to grow and gain support.

We saw what Dems do even when they have a trifecta. They may slow things down a little bit but they aren’t reversing anything or prosecuting anyone properly. It will all just be for show

I think we should want more than that as a bare minimum. If we actually pushed back instead of settling, politicians would listen.

To get there we need to establish a grassroots mutual understanding and common goal. It takes time to get people on the same page and plan. If we do so half hazardously we are doomed to fall flat, giving the elite more power in the process.

I mean, all we have to do is just threaten to not vote for Dems en masse and they’ll change their tune. I think we should abandon the party and let it burn though. They only prolong the inevitable at this rate. I feel too much disgust to give them support anymore
