If you drop Randy Fine on Iran it would level the entire middle east. If you’re wondering where all the aid that was supposed to be sent to Gaza went, check the contents of his stomach

The fact that even Megyn Kelly called this shit out says a lot

the fact that randy fine still has ANY job, much less a job in the government as an elected official, is absolutely astounding to me every day. he is genuinely one of the most evil and depraved people ive heard speak publicly in my life. he talks about "let the streets run red with their blood" SPECIFICALLY ABOUT CIVILIANS AND CHILDREN

Thats an islamaphobic comment not a racist one. Find something racist he’s said and use THAT as your reasoning for why he’s racist. Otherwise you’re just another liberal yelling “RACIST” to someone about something that has nothing to do with race 🤷‍♀️

i promise you they are not concerned with white muslims. it is no coincidence that they consistently choose the brownest religion to hate on

Well it's just dumb to call something racist when its racism is arguable and underlying, but its islamophobia is explicit and inarguable.

its because islamophobia doesn't really carry that much weight for people. most people think islamophobia is justified (as horrible as it may seem). but if you bridge the incredibly imperceptibly narrow gap between the fact that people are islamophobic and that the islamophobia is rooted in hatred for black and brown people, at least some people start taking it more seriously

I can almost guarantee the only actual parts of Islam these islamophobes know are either verses taken way out of context and mistranslated into English, or “tailored” Islamophobic content. They’ve also probably never even spoken to a Muslim that wasn’t an FBI agent pretending to be Muslim

yes i entirely agree. their hatred for islam is not based in any actual reality, but instead the perception that when they see a muslim, he most likely has black or brown skin, curly hair, and a name that signals red flags. the islamophobia now is the same islamophobia that existed during the 1960s against the nation of islam, just repackaged to better account for the shift against racism in the overton window.

you're not following my logical chain. i'm not making a universal claim that all hatred premised on religion is based on race, i'm saying the specific style of hatred concerning islam is rooted in racism. this is more reflective of how people treat islam vs atheism. atheism is more akin to how bigots treat homosexuality, as an aversion, not a qualitative, observation based hatred.

well, for one, the hatred for atheists is very distinct from the hatred for muslims. atheists have never experienced a travel ban, aren't being compared to being lesser than dogs, and aren't being systematically attacked. you're actually helping my point because the lack of actual systemic hatred towards atheists is likely due to the fact that they're majority non-white and non-American.

not necessarily. see you're viewing this hate on an unreliable interval based scale. you're conflating the argument that islamophobia is based in racism with the argument that i'm not making, that islamophobia is an inherent part of racism. there's a more digestible comparison which would be the fact that homophobia is rooted in misogyny. much of homophobic remarks about femininity is rooted in a misogynistic attitude towards the feminine, but that doesn't mean that all forms of homophobia is-

-misogynistic or all forms of misogyny is homophobic. what it simply means is that the expansion of this form of hatred COMPARED to others is very much rooted in these things because of the sheer magnitude of attitudes that which is stems from. let's say you have X and Y. they both hate a thing that belongs to group A. however, X hates in a way that is subsequent of and has the qualities of something from group B but Y does not. it would be fair to say that group X's hatred of group A would be-

-rooted in its previous hatred of the thing in group B, while Y's hatred of the thing in group A is not rooted in the hatred of the thing in group B. you're assuming premises that i didn't make. once again, i'm not making a universal claim that all religious based hatred is based in racism. i'm making an existential that SOME is, islamophobia being one of them.

I do NOT support him at all, don’t assume otherwise pls:) I was just pointing out that using that quote to call him racist is inaccurate. Hes still a racist, but that quote doesn’t show that.

He’s not saying it’s not discrimination dumbass, or justifying it. Racist is discrimination against RACE. Muslim is not a race, it’s a religion. Like Catholics or Jews, you can have a white Muslim, Iranian Muslim, a black Muslim, etc. Islamophobia is discrimination against the Muslim RELIGION. Race is not an umbrella term for discrimination
