I don’t think I would mind if we were required to show ID / have ID But it would have to be free and right now it costs money to get an ID Yes your life is hell without one, but it’s not illegal to 1. Not own an ID and 2. Exist without carrying ID in the states

Tbh I don’t carry govt ID when I’m biking/ at school most of the time… I pay with Apple Pay and carry my student ID on my phone case.

They want actual citizenship papers. Government Id, drivers license, passport, not enough. I wouldn’t be surprised if a birth certificate wasn’t even enough pretty soon Look it up
