I think the fundamental problem with immigration is that most people, including leftists, legitimately cannot comprehend the idea of a non-zero sum game. Like it somehow feels alien that both the immigrant and the host country’s people benefit overall

Also it’s weird that we never say that when someone has a kid. You don’t think “oh all these people are having kids it’s going to drive wages down and housing costs up for their generation” because… that’s not how the economy works? But when it comes to immigrants all of a sudden this basic logic goes out the window

Idk if the people who have been murdered by illegal immigrants would agree with you

Because people don't like brown people. It always loops back around to the basics of American racism and individualism. Every. Single. Fucking. Time.

Well of course not, they can’t talk because they’re dead. Alternatively, what about the larger number of people who have been murdered by Americans? Or the disproportionate number of children killed by right-leaning school shooters?

Or the people who died because they couldn’t afford treatment, or the people who die in car crashes because there’s no other way to get around, or the people on the streets because rent is too much. Like they got every opportunity to find something real to worry about but no this guy is too scawed of Mexicans
