Manhattan is a walkable city with a reliance on public transportation, most people born and raised in that borough don’t even know how to drive so it’s not that big of the deal. All of the other boroughs have plenty of parking so you’re either not from here, or you’ve never left Manhattan so I’m confused why you’re talking. And you realize how dumb you sound? “Garbage off the streets! God what a horrible man, he’s ruining the city!” Get a grip and go do some cognitive strengthening.
I’m against white supremacy. When I say it’s a cultural thing I mean people don’t value a clean environment. So they throw trash wherever. If we all had the culture of carrying you trash with you until you find a trash can (instead of throwing it in the street) the problem would be solved
ah, apologies for my misunderstanding then; I’ve normally only seen people attempt to minimizing issues into a “cultural” one whilst also being a form of a racial supremacist, and in all honesty the comment regarding India in combination with the initial one served to affirm my pre-assumptions (not claiming they were correct, I understand they weren’t now, but explaining the reasoning behind it)
In all honesty I feel like poverty is more related than “culture”, but I do see what you mean regarding if we all just held our trash to throw it out; but regarding poverty I feel as if most people feel betrayed in a way (for lack of a better word), which contributes to a lack of a common sense of public service/contribution
Again, you just don’t know what you’re talking about. Some garbage bags have been so built up and not taken care of people name them like it’s a monument. You’re constantly proving you know nothing about this city either in general or as a whole. Garbage doesn’t stay long in Manhattan because it’s Manhattan, all the other boroughs have a serious problem with garbage, especially the Bronx. I genuinely think you lack serious cognitive ability if you’re arguing against garbage bins.
see this is what I mean, you’re trying to make it out to be an individual or cultural issue rather than reflective of larger societal issues, and this is exactly why I had an issue with your sneaky India mention. out of curiosity, are you still supporting that “America first” shit?
