i think it’s weird that conservatives think people have to be perfect to not be violently killed.

To whom it may concern: - Floyd was not perfect but it didn’t justify his neck getting knelt on, let alone for ~9 mins - Floyd got so much attention b/c his murder was a blatant, undeniable act of police brutality *caught on video* - Neither party is all that great but gotta choose one in our two-party system That’s it folks have a great day

Don’t really think there’s people going around saying he deserved it. But George Floyd did die from a drug overdose or a heart attack. Derek Chauvin is simply a political prisoner

They already argued this in court & lost because all autopsies done showed he died from asphyxiation & several experts concurred. Sir Maejor Page, 35, of Toledo, has been sentenced to 42 months in prison by U.S. District Judge Jeffrey Helmick after a jury convicted him of wire fraud and money laundering for defrauding donors of more than $450,000 that they collectively gave to his nonprofit “Black Lives Matter of Greater Atlanta”

Goalpost shifter? Brother I didn’t move the goal post. You said “BLM is fraudulent” as if the organization is a monolith. To prove your point you would quite literally have to prove the organization IN ITS ENTIRETY is bad. You pointing to a few examples of people being bad isnt proving your point. It’s not my fault that concept is to big for your brain to grasp

And how the fuck is one supposed to prove it in its entirety to a dumbass on yikyak? Get real. “I was aware of that. But hey genius…” right after you said “im asking because i know they arent frauds” So which is it? Want more examples?

Jesus dawg I’m not explaining this to you. It’s such a simple concept to grasp. One bad apple doesn’t discredit the entire movement/organization. I can’t make it any simpler for you to grasp.

quite a few apples, almost like its bound to happen. why are you so offended over nothing? you like fraud? Didnt you just say you know they arent frauds and now you’re saying its “one bad apple” im done arguing about this with you because we are just talking in circles.

Anonymous replying to -> #14 19h

you guys are genuinely slow in the head. we are talking in circles because im talking about the literal organizations and you keep pivoting to the overall movement. but you can’t look at actual federal prison sentences and say there’s no fraud happening. it’s not "one bad apple" when top directors are getting locked up for stealing millions. you can support black lives without riding for a fraudulent ass organization

upvote 1 downvote
default user profile icon
Anonymous replying to -> #3 19h

You quite literally said BLM is fraudulent. You are referring to the ENTIRE ORG. Thats factually incorrect. You are speaking on specific people. One person cannot discredit the entire organization. Yes BLM of greater Atlanta was a fraud but BLM as a WHOLE isnt. It’s not my fault you can’t convey your thoughts effectively. Blame your teacher.

It’s quite literally an org/social movement. It’s a general term for multiple bodies/concepts. I literally can’t do this with you anymore. Now you are just saying nonsense. Have a good day

bro if you don’t want “lousy bum criminals” to receive international attention, maybe you should advocate against their blatant murder in the streets. we all saw the same video; if you think Chauvin’s conduct was valid, I sincerely hope you find yourself victim to the same above-board, standard treatment. You’ll find that most of us struggle to muster sympathy for your braindead ass as you suffocate to death surrounded by your neighbors, just as you failed to do so for this “lousy bum criminal”

Kind of a ridiculous time-line to cite. Within the past 250 years, we’ve seen several parties rise and fall within the two-party framework. The Federalists-Antifederalists, the Whigs, the Know-Nothings, the Nullifiers, the Free-Soil Party; Hell, even the Socialists have held seats in Congress before. It is inaccurate to assume that the Republicans and Democrats are all there ever have been or will be as options to American voters.

That’s not what a whataboutism is, there is no false moral equivalency… they are literally the same thing. The only difference is the past of the victim, but being a felon doesn’t give an officer the right to kill you. So it doesn’t contradict the COMPARISON (your vocab word of the day 🙂)
