I stand with the 29th Regiment of Foot and the British Army who protect our cities from the radical left colonists who agitate and defy our king. Private Montgomery was acting in self defense against a mob calling for violence against our brave soldiers.

Funny thing is it more understandable than people realize. While getting hit by rocks, clubs and ice a private loss his nerve and fired. Recalling an order that may have been said by someone else. Unlike this image Captain Preston was actually in front of his men when they fired. Part of his defense was. Why would I order them to fire while being in the line of fire

We cannot possibly be sympathizing with ICE in these comments. Understanding both perspectives is cool but all ICE agents are automatically evil and their duties and pressures don’t excuse them of their heinousness. They are stupid, hateful people roleplaying as SS.

Like honest to god those soldiers were very young, confused, and were being pelted with sharp objects, plus bayonets misfiring happened a lot. We’ll never really know what happened but I do think we have to understand that

Bayonets don’t misfire bc a bayonet is a knife

Bayonets during this time weren’t knives rather just sharp points. Used exclusively for jabbing motions against Calvery. Either way it wasn’t used during the Boston massacre to kill or harm anyone

Sorry I’m tired I meant muskets, not bayonets

Yes it honestly was understandable. Plus these soldiers were generally young, poor, and uneducated. People were putting sharp rocks and clamshells in the snowballs they were throwing at them

I’m not sympathetic to ice they need to be arrested. But the Boston massacre is a bad example
