i think that's a bit of a misconception, that it's encouraged or that people that are pro choice like abortions. that's not the case with anyone (besides the actual crazies) everyone, i think, would like it to not be necessary at all and i think a lot of pro choice people would agree that reducing abortion won't work with bans or restrictions. what will work is funding sex education, working to get people out of poverty, more protective laws against rape etc.

it exists because of socioeconomic issues not because people want just abortions. and yet the party that wants to outlaw abortion is also defunding all of those programs... because the republican leaders don't care about abortion they care about controlling the population

Okay if abortion is to be banned, and is bad, then when the woman has the baby, the man is required to do electric shock in his brain until he gets the same amount of permanent brain damage (women get irreversible brain damage after a birth), he gets to have his skin cut open and scared permanently, and he gets his dick flaccid and unable to be used for anything for 6 months

No one said abortion should be banned? It should be after first trimester unless for medical or 🍇 reasons is what I said. My dick was already cut open and scarred as soon as I was born. Maybe that would be a career choice to help you with your hatred of men. Three months is plenty of time to know you're pregnant, and decide if you want to keep it or not. If the baby risks the mother's health, fine you can kill it. If the baby is from forced sex then obviously kill it asap.

You’re adding to many variables. “You can’t have an abortion, but you can if you were raped or incest” is not as simple as you want to make it. That means a woman has to go to a doctor, find she’s pregnant, openly come out that she was raped, meaning before she knew about pregnancy (within 24 hours of the assault) she went to the hospital to do a rape kit cause that is the only way to prove it, then the doctor has to take this information and give it to her attorney, the attorney has to argue it

To a court to prove she is eligible for an abortion, and they have to agree or disagree then contact the doctor to give their seal of approval. All within 7 weeks? (average pregnancy is found at 6weeks, trimester is 13)

dude you obviously have no idea how women’s bodies or pregnancy works. it is very common to not know if you are pregnant within the first three months and that is the period of time in a pregnancy when there is the most uncertainty of whether or not you are pregnant.

You do realize that what you’ve put into play has caused women to die in the last 4 years? A woman was going to die if she didn’t have an abortion, doctor petitioned to allow her to get an abortion because he wasn’t legally allowed until it got approved by a judge. She died waiting for the approval. This happens over and over and over because you don’t realize by implementing this you implement months of legal bullshit

No because I didn't vote for orange man. Doctor's shouldn't have to petition the gov for that to happen. That's a horrible outcome and I'm sorry to hear that. I'd want it up to the doctor's and you'd only need one opinion as far I'm concerned. They could also be investigated afterward only if they are suspected of not following this, like most other areas of law.

However in the way that you explained, the law has to be involved. Because if you only want incest or rape or medical required abortions to happen by law, there needs to be a lawyer in her vagina making the decisions. That’s how it’s happening in all states with restrictions or bans right now

It shouldn’t even be a thing to vote on. We don’t have to vote on whether we can take a persons kidney without their consent. The problem is when restrictions come, death rates spike. No one needs a lawyer dictating life and death situations. Because of this law we had a woman who was brain dead forced to carry out her pregnancy as an incubator despite what her parents, aka next of kin wanted for her. That’s a violation of human rights but since she’s a woman it wasn’t.

If you restrict abortion or ban them, people will die because those restrictions you put in place cause debate and time and lawyers and court and judges and money and things that we don’t have time for. There have been cases of women going through these hoops, but it took so long that the court pretty much said “yeah well it was rape and you could have aborted, but now it’s your second trimester cause we took too long so sorry you can’t have an abortion”

Nah the way I actively explained it is that for rape, incest, mother health concerns, the baby can be aborted at any time at the doctor's discretion, not lawyers. If the baby is simply unwanted after 3mo's after committing I do not think that's okay and think someone should protect the lil baby. Even if they have a horrible life in foster care, which ideally they wouldn't either. I also clarified, that the gov should assume the Dr. is telling the truth
