It basically is. I see Trump and his ilk using the same "throwing stones then hiding your hand" tactic that a lot of children do when they irritate/bait another child then act innocent and victimized when that child responds in kind. Trump posting the AI photo of himself as Jesus then walking it back saying it was a "doctor" and playing it off is a great example.

half the policies your party forwards are justified by so-called Bible teachings. and no, it’s not just abortion. it’s the divorce, it’s gay marriage, it’s transgender people, it’s public schools. i’m not talking about y’all being rude to minorities and liberals, you are, but that’s not the point. the actual actions are causing harm.
