I find it funny how Europeans think Americans are both: 1. The most privileged and cushiest people in the world 2. Living in one of the poorest, most dangerous country where people slave away for minimum wage, schools are awful, terrible healthcare

This study used 2010 data, but its still a useful graphic for showing how well off Americans, even relatively poor Americans, are compared to the rest of the world. We’ve only gotten wealthier across all income quintiles since then.
