given that our economy is literally informed by looted wealth, and racial capitalism from chattel slavery, which was so insidious it metastasized into a virulent antiblackness that also simultaneously permeates the legal system and is refined and reinforced 24/7, the least amerikkka can do is DEI. but yeah it’s a bandaid over a bullet hole. *ridiculous. also you clearly know nothing about chattel slavery if you think that africans selling africans into slavery justifies white people enslaving generation after generation of them. and while no one alive now was enslaved, the impacts of slavery are literally what built our country. “Cast it off in a hundred years,” literally untrue. it was almost 300 YEARS OF SLAVERY. stop trying to diminish it and overlook 300 years of history as if our history doesn’t directly shape our present.
