Funnily enough our current currency would have the founders fuming. They didn’t want their likenesses on any money or monuments or statues, because it reminded them of a king So really all currency should be redesigned from the ground up and all current currency in circulation should be melted down if we wanted to truly follow the words of the founders

I mean, to be fair, you could say the same thing about the swastika. It was a Buddhist symbol long before it was a Nazi symbol, but if you wear a shirt with a swastika out in public, I’ll bet money you’ll not be treated as a Buddhist by the vast majority of people
