Current democrats in power are basically the bush administration from the early 2000's. An administration we all agreed was awful at the time That's how far right the Overton window has shifted

I think everyone’s pretty pissed with Democrats right now but I have a pretty good feeling this whole “Overton window is shifting” thing is gonna yank back the other way pretty soon. I don’t think moderates are a big fan of a lot of the shit Trump is doing right now

I mean yeah I go outside and talk to people and a lot of the people in my life who I know voted for Trump or lean that way are pretty vocal that they’re freaked out about the Minneapolis killings and ICE activity

Sorry maybe we are talking about different things. I agree there is a progressive movement happening and we're on the precipice of something crazy happening in that regard. What I was trying to say is that the major political parties are only going to continue shifting further to the right. Eventually a third party will emerge to fill the void left by the democrats going far right, or we will have a full on revolution. Not sure which will come first
