
Crimes require a victim. There is nothing criminal about crossing a border since it is victimless when they pay their fair share of taxes (~66 billion in 2024), can't vote, and are less likely to commit crimes with fear of deportation. It's illegal because they are undocumented, not because they crossed the border. What's the difference between an illegal border crossing and a legal one? Documentation, and it implies they aren't all criminals, which they aren't.
Just like ours? Do you think we don't have immigration policies? Do you see that ICE isn't following our policy and procedure of due process? Treating humans inhumanly while deporting? Did you see when I wrote Biden had more deportations last yr than Trump is projected to have this yr? What is your point dude. No one said "civilized countries don't have immigration policies". We are saying to treat deportees humanly and responsibly, without mistaking racially profiled citizens as undocumented.
