Logical fallacy/rhetorical strategy where you say a crazy take and then retreat to a position that's easier to defend when you get called out. Basically I'm sure if you asked Matt Walsh about his bio he would probably say he's just calling himself that as a joke because crazy leftists accused him of it first.
