Roots describes a slave getting r*ped by her master and they’d I guess why they removed it Which is sad because that happened like. To people IRL. And not that long ago. We need to teach people so we learn not to repeat history again

That’s exactly why. But the way the law it was banned under is written still allows the book (and its themes) to be taught directly by a class as long as it’s listed in its syllabus. So it’s just not available in school libraries. Click bait news posts be click baiting
