We need to advocate for more regulations yes. And it’s definitely not going *totally* away. But I do think the free-to-use high power chatbot model for normal consumers is going to die. It’s not cost effective and that will have pros and cons. Hopefully we won’t have to worry about shit like Sora long term

yeah and you know for most technological innovations that seem real neat, im thinking 19th century like airplanes, usually are, but also 100% we are going to kill each other with it.

exactly, they’re not cost effective. and the free to use models won’t be able to sustain themselves. but i worry also about unsolicited AI usage like on search engines or on companies’ websites, allegedly there are settings you can turn off but they don’t seem to work. i would love if someone invented an AI blocker similar to an ad blocker or something 😭
