Democrats are 1 for 3 against trump. no one honestly expects third parties to win national elections in the US. it’s almost impossible bc of the structure. what’s very possible? another Democratic loss

how many times since the 1980s have Democrats won the presidential election in SC? why do Democratic voters in SC keep showing up to vote if they understand their vote is meaningless? shouldn’t they just stay home?

They lost because people were pissed off that stuff had become significantly more expensive and Harris failed to differentiate herself from Biden/his policies. The whole "base" narrative is nonsense. Of those who stayed home in 2024 despite voting Biden in 2020, a substantial proportion would have voted Trump (meaning they're likely not part of the "base" of, it is understood, college-educated younger voters).
