OP, you put "anti homeless" and "pro Christian values" in the same list. Jesus was homeless: "the Son of man hath not where to lay his head" (Matt 8:20). In Matt 25 the nations are judged on one thing: did you feed the hungry, take in the stranger, clothe the naked? "Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me." The goats who failed go away into everlasting punishment (v46). Which list are you on?

lmao ok well that’s not me but you do you. i’m just pointing out that being anti-homeless is antithetical to christianity (the first example that comes to mind is the beatitudes and the parable of the sheep and goats)

"Pro business"? Jesus flipped the tables of the money changers in the temple (Matt 21:12). He said it's easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom (Matt 19:24). James 5:1-4 rips rich men who hold back the wages of their workers. Amos 2:6 condemns those who sold "the poor for a pair of shoes." The early church shared everything and no one was in need (Acts 4:32-35). Read the red letters.

Pro gun as a Christian value? When a disciple drew a sword to defend him from arrest, Jesus said "put up again thy sword into his place: for all they that take the sword shall perish with the sword" (Matt 26:52), then healed the guy who got cut (Luke 22:51). "Blessed are the peacemakers" (Matt 5:9). Isaiah 2:4: swords into plowshares. Romans 12:19-21: don't avenge yourselves; overcome evil with good.

"Pro America" as a Christian value? Philippians 3:20 says our citizenship is in heaven. Jesus: "My kingdom is not of this world" (John 18:36). Revelation 7:9 pictures every nation, tribe and tongue standing together before the throne. And Leviticus 19:34: treat the immigrant among you as native-born and love them as yourself. Loving your country is fine. Putting it on the same list as your faith, with a flag and an eagle emoji, is how you end up worshipping it.

On abortion and gay marriage: Jesus said nothing about either. Not one word. What he did say a lot about: wealth, hypocrisy, the poor, and judging others. Matt 7:3-5: get the beam out of your own eye before the mote in your brother's. Exodus 21:22 treats causing a miscarriage as a fine, not murder. If you're voting the Bible, vote the whole thing, not just the parts that are about other people.

And Ken Paxton as the Christian values pick? His own wife filed for divorce in 2025 citing "biblical grounds" (adultery is #7 of the Ten). His own party's Texas House impeached him in 2023 on bribery and abuse-of-office charges (acquitted by the Senate). Proverbs 29:2: "when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn." Matt 7:16: "Ye shall know them by their fruits." Look at the fruit, not the emoji.

It’s not even that, it’s that he didn’t bother to think critically (a.k.a. questioning instead of taking at face value like a verdict)

Sure: you listed "Christian values" next to everything Jesus condemned. Your candidate's own wife divorced him on biblical grounds. That's two sentences, you're welcome.

I think what he means is he doesn’t want homeless people attacking you in the streets

That assumes homeless people are the danger, when they're far more likely to be the victims of violence than the ones doing it. Being "anti" a whole group of people because of what a few might do isn't Christian, it's fear. Most people end up on the street through evictions, medical bills, addiction or abuse. Ezekiel 16:49: Sodom's sin was pride, "fulness of bread," and refusing to help the poor and needy. God gave enough for everyone (Exodus 16:18). We chose greed.

it’s crazy that this pedophile scumbag is still regurgitating bullshit on this app. sunset genuinely put your phone down for once and actually focus on your college education, and maybe you’d grow as a person. I doubt you’d ever do anything to better yourself though, especially considering what you advocate for.
