Not enough people are talking about the fertilizer crisis, and not because food prices will go up 5%, but because dozens of countries in Africa and Asia will go through bread riots, coups, and revolutions in 2027.
I mean, most fertilizers are produced in China and Canada, I don’t see how that becomes anything significant other than maybe marginally lower crop yields for a period of time

I suspect you researched “all fertilizers” instead of specifics like nitrogen based fertilizers or sulfur, an essential component for turning pure phosphate into phosphate based fertilizer.

Canada is big for potash, but I think other fertilizers are likely either from the Middle East or Russia or Belarus
