Additionally, I think the face-scanning is primarily for their databases, they’re allegedly keeping track of everyone who openly opposes the administration and ICE, with the intention of classifying us all as domestic terrorists.

People are already seeing the effects of these scans on social media. Repressed content, flagged users, shadow banning. We live in a surveillance state that works in tandem with social media and they don’t even hide it anymore. This government needs to be radically changed or we’re going to be the next targets for ICE, or whatever comes next. The best thing any of us can do is get the fuck off anything Meta owned.

100%, especially how it blends with the job market as well! I’ve noticed that many of my fellow leftists, or just anyone that openly opposes the administration, more commonly comes into trouble finding work recently, myself included. Yet, in comparison to ppl who are openly maga or neutral/don’t care, I see them having an increasing amount of job offers in comparison? Just a little hypothesis of mine, but I absolutely think they already implemented that portion of p2025, pEsther, and p2026:
