Almost as if the judges understand how the law works. I mean, almost. Followup: appointments don’t factor into how a lot of these people rule against the administration. Trump appointments are blocking a lot of his declarations. Obama era appointments have allowed deployments of ICE at times.

A judge’s job is to interpret the law, not to create it.

They have discretion to punish accordingly, just how ICE has the discretion to shoot whoever they want. Hope this helps 👍
