The fact that in one community I’m known as the “Marxist” as if it’s an insult and in another im known as “NK girl” bc apparently it’s completely preposterous to oppose US state funded propaganda The red scare never ended

You’re the person in the Jewish community aren’t you? That place is crawling with Zionists who can’t accept opinions different to their own

man i don’t even post or comment on the jewish community anymore (i’m also jewish) since that new mod came in. there was a short period of time when it was kinda chill but then it went full blown zionist again and you immediately get downvoted and shot down if you mention being not conservative or as religious as the main people on there.

Literally they think it’s an insult. And that I’m “pretty detestable” for being an anti Zionist. If I’m hated that much by Zionists, I’m doing good in life

they didn’t call you detestable because you’re anti-Zionist. that literally wasn’t even mentioned. they called you detestable because you start arguments with no provocation and accuse people of all sorts of horrible things if they don’t agree with you exactly and tell you how brilliant you are. and then you go shit talk the rest of the jewish community online during a massive antisemitism crisis

and you’re not known as “the marxist” that’s just how that person referred to you because you’re the only one who is so self righteous about it

I don’t start arguments, I respond to posts with my opinion (only sometimes, I hold back a lot) like everyone else does on this app & in that community! And I’m considered detestable simply for being pro Palestine. Otherwise you’d consider everyone who shares their opinion “detestable” & you don’t sooo…. The op was being anti Palestinian and pretending to be a victim. And i personally find that pretty detestable from my pov so i voiced my opinion.

I never mentioned what community it was in for a reason so you just outed it for some reason. Not my fault. What about the whole genocide crisis? Iran, Cuba?? You guys prioritize your feelings over the lives of the victims of western imperialism. I also find that pretty detestable. I find blocking me to talk shit about me also pretty detestable & I dont do that to others

They admitted they weren’t pro Palestinian and don’t seek liberation for Palestinians. And THAT was the reason their friend dropped them not bc their friend was racist against them for being Israeli. I’m cool with being friends with Israelis if they’re actually pro Palestinian. But seeing as how they were dropped by their friend, I knew that was the real reason and not them being racist against them for being Israeli and I was right

My op didn’t say anything about zionism and I was just answering 1’s question about why they call me that? And bc I deleted my comments after they blocked me so the thread disappeared. And many in that community do normalize racist horrible positions

well the comments are gone and to be honest i don’t trust your version of events very much. that post was very clearly about stereotypes and just because that person isn’t pro Palestine enough for you personally doesn’t mean they don’t deserve friends

Why would you be cool with being friends with an Israeli for years and then all of a sudden drop your friend? That would suggest a discomfort with their views or positions for some reason. I asked questions too, didn’t assume. They admitted they aren’t seeking for the decolonization and the complete liberation of Palestinians. They were pro “partial” “liberation” and seeing as how that didn’t work for the Irish I know it’s just a front for endless occupation and oppression

I didn’t say they don’t deserve friends I said I personally wouldnt be friends with someone against the complete liberation of Palestinians either 😭 that doesn’t make me racist bc they claimed I was racist lmao

and them being pro two state didn’t have anything to do with their argument with their friend you just accused them of some fucked up beliefs and they defended themselves and you decided that’s why

Yeah which is pro colonization and occupation. And anti Palestinian. Ofc you as a Zionist don’t see how partial occupation is wrong bc you defend it. I don’t support the existence of “Northern Ireland” either (really just the north of Ireland) bc it’s still colonialism…

does nobody else see how insane this is???? a person posted about losing a friend due to the friend’s belief in racist stereotypes. OP dragged that person into an extended argument about israel and palestine until the person voiced a concrete belief they hold that OP disagrees with and apparently thinks is morally indefensible. so then OP decides on their own that the friend couldn’t possibly actually have done anything wrong

Girl ppl aren’t against Israelis bc they’re racist, that’s when i immediately clocked that they were misrepresenting reality. Just like being against Americans doesn’t make anyone racist either. It’s a legitimate critique on the American empire that has caused mass causalities around the world. That’s why ppl oppose America and Israel. Not bc of racist stereotypes

yes they are antisemitic stereotypes applied to israelis in a way that is different from how they are applied to american jews. so people call them israeli stereotypes as shorthand
