Wait a minute"
I genuinely don’t understand why nuclear energy isn’t being pushed like at all…

The Almighty steam rules all

There’s a startup trying to do it without the need for water!

Important to note is we have control rods that absorb excess neutrons and prevents nuclear reactors from exploding

Wait until this guy learns that if you put a lot of heat on something, it’ll boil faster than if you put just a little bit of heat on something

If the pressure were to be lowered so that it boils faster wouldn’t that be better than keeping the water under pressure or having heavy water?

You need that pressure to push the turbine

Is that why the water, whether he or not is kept under higher pressure to avoid boiling

Using error? I know the British pioneer air called reactors, especially under the Thatcher era, They were picked up again and expanded.

Using a reverse magnetic field! They’re called Helion, pretty cool ass company

What do you mean reverse magnetic? Like it’s a magnetic field whether it attracts or repels or what polarities are

So it basically works like this: instead of spinning a turbine, Helion’s reactor creates a “pulse” fusion reaction that heats a ring of plasma which then expands outwards. As it expands outwards, it’s pushing against the electromagnetic field containing it, which induces current backwards through the coils that created the containing field. The ring of plasma essentially is the turbine now. It’s actually a huge advancement because those reactors don’t need to sustain fusion to generate energy
