Like Papuan separatist groups have arisen as a very real response to colonialism by Indonesia and the expansion of Indonesian settlements in Papuan land. The Indonesian government has massacred Papuans as part of “enforcement operations” and those Papuan separatists will execute random Indonesian bus drivers. You can recognize why they exist without supporting the actions of that group. It doesn’t have to be all or nothing. Like it’s not that hard.

The PKK is a designated terror group. Yet there are points to be made of Türkiye being shitty to Kurds, same can be said of Iraq’s treatment of the Kurdish minority in their country.
