I rather liked my internship in the realm of that kind of work. I tell you what tho… some people’s lives will make you saaaaaad if you get emotionally invested in that kind of work.

The amount of times two different Feds or Intel departments have tried to entrap one another only to realize they were talking to another fed was absurdly high around 2023.

So I guess… rest easy knowing whomever may or may not have been trying to entrap you, might have gotten entrapped themselves, while they were trying to entrap you.

I joke (it’s not a joke) that every govt building should have a giant mirror in the lobby that everyone has to walk past and look at themselves so they don’t get hypnotized by the rank/position/mission or their own ego. Gotta ask themselves “are we the bad guys?” Regularly to stay sane.
