The world’s two wars are blending together. Iran is saying that Ukraine is going to be considered as a target.

I can’t tell if they’re bluffing or if they want to try drone striking the one country that has been fighting their drones for 4 years straight

Seeing how they’ve just been bombing everyone I don’t think they’re bluffing. Though it seems very pointless to strike Ukraine.

It’s probably because Ukraine supports Israel and offered the US help with cheaper interceptors for Shahed drones. It turns out the distance from Tehran to Kyiv might be just within the range of a Shahed drone, but it looks like that path is near countries that would probably shoot it down (besides Ukraine themselves)

Yeah the interceptor sale is why they’re doing this. Apparently the shahed can go as far as Prague

I don’t really see how it makes sense for them but in theory they could launch stuff at Ukraine that would only have to go over the Caspian Sea and Russia. It’s not infeasible they could do it

But it makes way more sense for them to just supply Russia with said weaponry (like they’ve been doing with drones) if the point is to actually attack Ukraine and not just prove they can do it

It’s cheaper for them to just launch the things. Would cost more money to transport them to Russia to be used. Plus Russia isn’t really doing so great right now
