The distraction is blaming everything on minorities. That doesn’t mean you stop defending the minorities. Racism against black people was something the southern planters promoted to prevent poor whites from turning against them. You stop the distraction by not being racist. Not by no longer combatting racism.

You know, there is a shadow of a point here. Still, it’s not bad or dumb to stand against injustice and marginalization of all types.
