at least have the courage to say you value your own life and wellbeing above those you’re supposedly advocating for. it’s true for most of us, it’s not necessarily shameful but you can’t pretend that this is an effective tactic. it’s LARPing activism

sometimes I feel like these folks don’t understand that effective protest is an inherently risky activity. nobody ever stood up to the man without sticking their neck out
