Taxation for social services is an inherent part of capitalism in real existing societies on some level, this is a way oversimplified reaction to what was said imo.

I don't even disagree on the public library thing either but to tie this take that fees should be charged instead of taxes for libraries to capitalism is empirically incorrect, this is just bad social policy, plain and simple. Under a communist system the equivalent would be to restrict access to libraries.
