The compromise between deporting abuelas and letting asylum seekers flood the country is naturalizing those present and securing the borders But also fuck ICE tho they gotta be burnt to the ground and rebuilt

Well, wed need to hire more judges, but yes. Ppl more likely to go through the proper channels, if there’s a realistic chance at an equitable outcome

Can’t hire more judges without funding. And you won’t pass funding if one (maybe both) party/parties has/have chosen to make immigration an issue in every single election, so much so that “no immigration of any sort” now appears to be a somewhat mainstream opinion
