We did that 40+ years ago and then didn’t fix the immigration system afterwards. We’re going to do the same again?

Well, wed need to hire more judges, but yes. Ppl more likely to go through the proper channels, if there’s a realistic chance at an equitable outcome

Can’t hire more judges without funding. And you won’t pass funding if one (maybe both) party/parties has/have chosen to make immigration an issue in every single election, so much so that “no immigration of any sort” now appears to be a somewhat mainstream opinion
