i don’t think it has to do with school i was never taught in school about the theory of art

I wasn’t taught theory lol I just remember learning how it influences politics in my 6th grade art class lol I get that not everyone was but I just feel like it’s common sense I’m ngl like music is definitely political, ballet and other forms of dance have a deep political history, and regular art too so I just don’t get how people think art isnt tied to politics

the distinction is some art is political, some art is not political. but a lot of it is political.
