It makes it so hard to believe in god when these are the people teaching it… I haven’t been to church in like 7 years bc of it and just practice on my own bc this is not Christianity at ALL and is really upsetting to see what it’s become… I just don’t understand

hypocritical churches and religious people. i'm not against religion and think everyone should be able to practice what they want as long as it's not hurting or oppressing others, which is definitely a massive problem in the US right now

It started to hit me when realistically anyone could become a pastor or leader in the church if they wanted, that does not mean that what they are teaching is necessarily true tho or in align to the actual beliefs of the church. I started to consider that because they have such an influence on their people, they easily could’ve become a pastor to push their agenda and is why i stopped going and just practicing on my own
