that is literally how evangelical christianity works. you can literally be as evil as you want and just “accept jesus” at the last minute and it’s all good. the protestant reformation and its consequences have been a disaster for the human race

No you need to genuinely be remorseful you can’t do wrong things and then say sorry. A big thing in Protestantism is having this internal experience of god you can’t do shitty things then say you accept godagain that’s not how that works.

John 3:16 “for god so loved the world he gave his only begotten son, so that whoever believes in him shall not perish, but have eternal life” it actually is you who dosent understand what you are talking about. You may personally feel it should be that way, but that’s not what the bible actually says

Idk you guys need to argue with actually intelligent christians. Part of believing in Jesus if you actually read Luther or any theological person is actually engaging in what they consider his teachings.

You can’t just say I believe in Jesus but not follow his teaching they don’t consider that believing in Jesus. Again idk why we’re going down this stupid tangent it’s not related to anything I said.
