I mean technically it should at least be mentioned in world history classes. Most every high school has them…

World history is essentially just Intro to Western History lite in high school tbh. The Soviet Union sucked, but the relevant history to it isn’t its genocides, it’s the form of government and central planning it attempted. The trend of people who don’t understand why the Holocaust is taught is mind numbing.
