
There are several things I’d counter here but my main point is that capitalism incentivizes keeping people barely fed. Under capitalist logic, starving millions to death doesn’t make any sense since you need a labor force. But keeping those people barely fed by keeping the food artificially scarce does make sense, since it keeps prices and profits high
I appreciate you finding statistics to make your points but you’re painting an incomplete picture of what’s happening by looking purely at numbers. That median income figure for example may be true, but it doesn’t take into account how much buying power the median salary has. The American dream isn’t possible off the average salary anymore
