Everything that you think you’d hate under socialism is already happening under capitalism.

The largest famine in human history is happening right now? Please tell me where 50 million people have died from starvation.

A 3 year famine is awful of course, but a system that keeps a people unfed for the sake of profit I would argue is worse. At least china got their shit together

Lets not minimize the deadliest famine in history. The amount of death from starvation in those three years is equivalent to 1.6 million years of starvation deaths at current rates in the US. China getting their shit together was their embrace of private industry.

There are several things I’d counter here but my main point is that capitalism incentivizes keeping people barely fed. Under capitalist logic, starving millions to death doesn’t make any sense since you need a labor force. But keeping those people barely fed by keeping the food artificially scarce does make sense, since it keeps prices and profits high

I have lived off minimum wage before, but thats irrelevant. A voluntary contract is the antithesis of slavery.

I appreciate you finding statistics to make your points but you’re painting an incomplete picture of what’s happening by looking purely at numbers. That median income figure for example may be true, but it doesn’t take into account how much buying power the median salary has. The American dream isn’t possible off the average salary anymore

It actually does take buying power into account. Thats what the “PPP” at the top means.
