Yeah, I think being from a household that was comprised of: Grandma, Single Mom, Older Sister, Me + spending summers with Deadbeat Dad & Younger Half-Sister kinda immunized me to this shit. Like, redpill guys would talk about how single moms were awful and whatnot, and even at 12 (aka Peak “Fuck You, Mom!”) I knew that shit was dumb as fuck and that our mom was pouring all she had into her children. Like bffr man, most single moms are only single because their man was a shitbird lmao

Red Pill Dudes: “The family court system is so biased against fathers, these single moms keeping kids from their dads is the REAL problem in society” Meanwhile in real life, my dad would hit me if I told him he was acting a damn fool by allowing himself to get rage-baited by my little sister. Now, in my dad’s defense, I never did see him put hands on my little sister, only on me. Which is still obviously bad, but at least he stuck to hitting the preteen/teenage boy and not a little girl.

i think i was around the same age and i didnt have a mom and still thought it was the stupidest thing ever like how they would bring on these women, wether they be OF models or just influencers, and just go on and on about how they will fail with out one of the men sitting at the table. Not even a huge feminist but its tragic how they just berate women.

Yeah, my dad and I eventually came to straight up fist fighting. I was 16, and I suspect he’d gotten into the redpill shit, because he was talking some kinda WILD about my mom, how she’d done him dirty in the divorce (I was 1 when they divorced, so I never knew them together) and whatnot. So we fought, I won, didn’t see him again until my sister graduated high school and I went down to her ceremony at 22. He’s grown a lot as a person, and I love him now, but man that pissed me off.

And it pisses me off that it took him so long to get better, but I know I’m the one who’s wrong to hold onto the past like that. But I do think it’s important to acknowledge when someone’s grown and changed for the better

Me and you might be one in the same no shi bc my dad was on some racist shi (and drugs) and fist fought when i was a sophomore bc he was saying some off the wall shit. From what i hear he is better but i can never forgive him for the shit he has done and said to me and i do suspect he was on some other racist redpill shit or got caught in that crowd but that shi really does ruin relationships of every type. fuck the all the conservative movements that push people down.
